Air conditioners require regular maintenance to keep them working at top performance levels. Some of the maintenance you or your HVAC tech should be doing on a regular basis is:

  • Replace or clean air filters
  • Check and clean your evaporator coil
  • Keep outdoor condenser units free of dirt and debris
  • Comb bent coil fins back into position
  • Unclog condensate drain channels
  • Make sure window seals are tight
  • Check refrigerant levels
  • Seal any duct leakage
  • Inspect electrical system
  • Check thermostat accuracy
