What should I look for in a central air conditioning system?

Some of the most important things to look for in a new AC unit are: sizing, pricing, and efficiency.

Getting the right size AC means making sure that the system will be able to cool your entire home. The larger your house, the larger capacity your new system will need, and the more expensive it will be.

Pricing is self-explanatory. You need a system you can afford that does the job. We can work with you on financing and finding applicable rebates.

Efficiency is how much energy is takes your AC unit to cool your home. High efficiency ACs use less energy (which means a lower energy bill!). You can check your new system’s efficiency by checking its SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating). The higher the SEER (look for 15 and above), the more efficient the system.
